
Driver sets a record in Vinnytsia region - more than 1000 fines for traffic violations
In Vinnytsia region, a 27-year-old driver is recognised as the record holder for the number of fines for traffic violations - a criminal case has been opened against him 1056 enforcement proceedings.
According to the executive service, the man systematically violated traffic rules and ignored the requirements to pay fines. All penalties remained overdue, which led to the opening of numerous cases.
According to law enforcement, most of the violations concerned speeding, violation of parking rules and driving through prohibited traffic signals.
What the offender faces
If the debtor does not pay the fines voluntarily, they are collected by the State Enforcement Service. In particular, it is possible to seizure of accounts, property and vehicles, as well as temporary restriction on the right to travel abroad.
Law enforcers urge drivers to comply with traffic rules and pay fines in a timely manner to avoid accumulating debts and additional sanctions.
