This morning, Russian attack drones attacked a fire station in one of the border villages of Shostka district, Sumy region. About an hour later, the unit was attacked again.
As a result of the attack, the depot building was heavily damaged. The firefighting equipment inside was destroyed, which was in the garage at the time.
Rescuers were not injured
During both strikes, the rescuers were in cover. This helped to avoid casualties and injuries among the personnel.
All employees of the fire station remained unharmed. There were no reports of civilian casualties.

Russia regularly attacks the border areas of Sumy region using drones and artillery. Fire departments and rescue services have been repeatedly targeted.
