On the night of 25 March, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine with attack drones. According to the Air Force, 147 drones of various types were launched. Defence forces 121 enemy UAVs were destroyed or suppressed.

On the night of 25 March, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 147 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmash and other attack drones. Main launch destinations: Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiyske in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
More than 80 of the drones launched were of the Shahed type. The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups and unmanned aerial systems.
Air defence results
As of 08:30, air defence forces destroyed or suppressed 121 enemy UAVs in the north, south and east of the country. 24 strike drones were recorded at 18 locations.
The wreckage of the downed drones fell at three more locations. The attack continues: several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace. Authorities are calling for compliance with safety rules.
Context.
Massive drone attacks from Russia have continued in recent weeks. Ukrainian air defence forces regularly repel most of the attacks, but some drones hit targets or cause debris to fall. Authorities have stressed the need to comply with alerts and safety rules during attacks.
