Umerov: Ukraine expects Zelenskyy's visit to the US to complete final stages of agreements with Trump
Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov said that the Ukrainian side expects to Organising a visit by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the United States at the earliest possible date in November.
This visit, he said, should complete final stages of negotiations and allow Ukraine to reach final agreements with the US President Donald Trump.
Results of the meetings in Geneva
Umerov emphasised that the meetings between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Geneva were productive and constructive.
According to him, the parties reached common understanding on the key terms of the deal, which is currently being actively negotiated.
«We appreciate President Trump's continued efforts to end the war,» the minister said.
The role of European partners
Umerov also emphasised that Ukraine is counting on support from European partners at the next stages of negotiating the future deal.
Coordination of positions between Kyiv, Washington, and the EU is underway.
