On the night of 14 March, fighters of the Department of Active Two warships were hit by the GRU of the enemy. The operation put the Slavyanin ferry out of action and damaged the Avangard vessel.
Damage to ships at the Kerch Strait crossing
On the night of 14 March, the DIU's Active Operations Department attacked two enemy warships. The railway ferry “Slavyanin” was disabled, and another vessel, “Avangard”, was damaged.
These vessels are part of the Kerch ferry crossing, which was used by the occupiers to transport Russian military cargo used in hostilities against Ukraine.
A blow to the infrastructure of the Kavkaz port“
In the course of the operation, special forces of the military intelligence, together with other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, also struck the infrastructure of the Kavkaz port.
The Kavkaz port is located in the Krasnodar Territory and is used by Russia to wage war against Ukraine. The operation is aimed at complicating the logistics of Russian military cargo.
