This refers to employees involved in the response to the attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"710\" data-end=\"889\">The government emphasises that the continuous operation of the energy sector is critical for the stability of the state, the functioning of the economy and the livelihoods of communities during the war.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"934\">Restoring infrastructure during the war<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"1203\">Russian attacks on the energy system remain one of the key challenges for Ukraine. After each attack, repair crews work in an intensified mode to restore power to homes, hospitals, businesses and critical infrastructure as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1373\">The government, in turn, is expanding its support programmes for the energy sector, including funding for repairs, protection of facilities and social guarantees for industry workers.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1375\" data-end=\"1386\">Context.<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1662\">Ukraine's energy system is regularly attacked by Russia, which leads to damage to substations, networks and generating facilities.
