Orban writes to Zelensky via Druzhba and accuses Ukraine of \u00abdragging him into war\u00bb<\/h2>\n

Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban<\/strong> sent a letter to the President of Ukraine To Volodymyr Zelenskyy<\/strong>, in which he accused Kyiv of allegedly trying to drag Budapest into the war and criticised the situation around the Druzhba oil pipeline.<\/p>\n

In his address, Orban said that over the past four years, Ukraine has allegedly been working to force Hungary to enter a war with Russia.<\/p>\n

Details of the case<\/h3>\n

According to the Hungarian prime minister, Kyiv is receiving support from Brussels and the Hungarian opposition, while putting pressure on Budapest on energy issues.<\/p>\n

Orban also claims that Ukraine has \u00abblocked\u00bb the Druzhba pipeline, which he says is critical to Hungary's energy supply.<\/p>\n

\u00abYour actions are contrary to Hungary's interests and threaten the safe and affordable energy supply to Hungarian families,\u00bb the letter reads.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister stressed that Hungary sympathises with the Ukrainian people, but does not want to participate in the war and finance the war effort.<\/p>\n

Tensions between Kyiv and Budapest have long been high over energy and political issues, as well as Hungary's position on Russia's war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n
