This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine <strong data-start=\"364\" data-end=\"386\">Alexander Syrsky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"hn2765\" data-start=\"389\" data-end=\"411\">The enemy's new tactics<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"561\">According to Syrsky, the enemy is trying to complicate the work of Ukrainian air defence by flying drones at minimum altitudes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"599\"><strong>This approach allows drones to be used:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"707\">\n<li data-section-id=\"9hi4pl\" data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"644\">\n<p data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"644\">stay under the radar for longer,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"p50k2v\" data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"678\">\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"678\">bypassing some of the air defence systems,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"xn7m40\" data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"707\">\n<p data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"707\">make interception more difficult.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1tgyy2b\" data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"729\">Ukraine's response<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"867\">Ukrainian forces are adapting to new tactics. Domestic interceptor drones are increasingly playing a key role in countering the Shahed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"932\">According to the Commander-in-Chief, this is the first time such drones have been used in just a month:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"1013\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1y7pr2a\" data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"974\">\n<p data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"974\">carried out about <strong data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"971\">6300 flights<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"yiqmx2\" data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"1013\">\n<p data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1013\">destroyed more than <strong data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1012\">1500 enemy UAVs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1ba8h64\" data-start=\"1015\" data-end=\"1039\">Strengthening \u00absmall air defence\u00bb<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1125\">Syrsky said that the formation of so-called \u00absmall air defence\u00bb units is underway.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1245\">In addition, Ukrainian helicopters are being further equipped to combat small air targets more effectively.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1mtmuhe\" data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1258\">Context.<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1510\">Russia regularly changes its tactics of using kamikaze drones in an attempt to overwhelm Ukraine's air defence system.
