Minister of Defence of Israel Israel Katz<\/strong> said that any new supreme leader of Iran, appointed after the recent events in the country, could be targeted for elimination if he continues the policy of threats against Israel.<\/p>\n Katz posted a statement on social media.<\/p>\n According to Katz, any leader appointed by the Iranian regime to continue the policy of confrontation with Israel, the United States and the countries of the region will be a potential target.<\/p>\n He stressed that Israel is ready to act regardless of who leads the Iranian regime.<\/p>\n \u00abIt doesn't matter what his name is or where he is hiding,\u00bb the minister said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Katz also said that together with the country's Prime Minister, he instructed the Israeli Defence Forces to prepare for further actions as part of a military operation against Iran.<\/p>\n According to him, Israel will continue to work together with its American allies to destroy the military capabilities of the Iranian regime.<\/p>\n The statement was made against the backdrop of a sharp deterioration of the situation in the Middle East and large-scale military operations between Israel,
