Putin signs decree on record number of Russian army<\/h2>\n

President of Russia Vladimir Putin<\/strong> signed a decree establishing a new staffing level for the Russian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n

According to the document, the total number of troops will be 2,391,770 people<\/strong>, of which 1,502,640 - military personnel<\/strong>, and the rest are civilian personnel.<\/p>\n

The Decree comes into force from the date of signing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
