Hungary announces investigation into transit of hundreds of millions of dollars from Ukraine<\/h2>\n

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hungary<\/span><\/span><\/strong> Peter Siyarto<\/span><\/span><\/strong> said that the Hungarian tax and customs authorities are investigating a case involving the transit of significant amounts of cash through the country.<\/p>\n

According to him, it was an incident involving detained cash collectors who were transporting large amounts of money.<\/p>\n

According to Budapest, they may have been transported through Hungary since January:<\/p>\n

    Budapest's loud accusations<\/h3>\n

    Sijjarto also said that the detained cash collectors could have been transporting money from the so-called \u00abUkrainian military mafia\u00bb.<\/p>\n

    At the same time, the Hungarian authorities have not provided public evidence to support such claims.<\/p>\n

    Ukraine denies the allegations<\/h3>\n

    \u0423 Ukraine<\/span><\/span><\/strong> earlier called the Hungarian side's actions politically motivated and related to Budapest's domestic policy.<\/p>\n
