The reason for this was the suspension of oil pumping through Druzhba. The supply can only be resumed once the pipeline is back online.<\/p>\n<h2>Gas supply has been stopped<\/h2>\n<p>Prime Minister of Hungary <strong>Viktor Orban<\/strong> announced that the country had stopped supplying gas to Ukraine. This decision was made due to the suspension of oil pumping through the Druzhba pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>Gas exports will resume only after the oil pipeline is reopened. Orban stressed that supplies will remain blocked until oil transit is fully restored.<\/p>\n<h2>Conditions for the resumption of exports<\/h2>\n<p>Budapest is demanding the resumption of oil pumping through Druzhba to return to normal gas supplies. The Hungarian side does not specify when exactly the pipeline might resume operations.<\/p>\n<p>The decision applies only to gas exports to Ukraine, while domestic consumption in Hungary remains unaffected.<\/p>\n<h2>Context.<\/h2>\n<p>The Druzhba pipeline is one of the main routes for oil supplies from Russia to Europe.
