The changes relate to new categories of transport, weight standards and stricter control over overloading. Some of the innovations are already having an impact on the transport market.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"e6wtjd\" data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"503\">What has changed in the traffic rules<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"505\" data-end=\"558\">The Cabinet of Ministers has introduced several important innovations:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"560\" data-end=\"643\">\n<li data-section-id=\"mxzkon\" data-start=\"560\" data-end=\"643\">New concepts have emerged:\n<ul data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"643\">\n<li data-section-id=\"mson0y\" data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"609\"><strong data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"607\">container ship<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"54pw7e\" data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"643\"><strong data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"641\">container transport<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"706\">This allows separate rules to be applied to such transport.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"708\" data-end=\"711\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"qy9rd9\" data-start=\"713\" data-end=\"734\">New weight standards<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"736\" data-end=\"760\">Clause 22.5 of the SDA has been updated:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"875\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1ca2p2b\" data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"875\"><strong data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"779\">42-44 tonnes<\/strong> - allowed only for:\n<ul data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"875\">\n<li data-section-id=\"5yef92\" data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"825\">container ships<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1fyi5z3\" data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"875\">transport of containers or interchangeable bodies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"919\">For everyone else, standard restrictions apply:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"1010\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1oplkmf\" data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"965\"><strong data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"934\">40 tonnes<\/strong> - roads of national importance<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"744tkv\" data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"1010\"><strong data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"980\">24 tonnes<\/strong> - local roads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1012\" data-end=\"1015\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1nuvmzs\" data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1036\">Why it matters<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1038\" data-end=\"1056\">The main goal of the changes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1166\">\n<li data-section-id=\"eepdgi\" data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1100\">remove abuses with overloading<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"62m8sb\" data-start=\"1101\" data-end=\"1136\">clearly separate the types of transport<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"qjwj9j\" data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1166\">reduce road destruction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1171\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1qw1zxq\" data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1202\">What drivers should consider<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1215\">After the changes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1383\">\n<li data-section-id=\"qn1qlc\" data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1273\">Overweight for \u00abordinary\u00bb trucks - risk of fines<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"hijhre\" data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1336\">the increased limits can no longer be applied without justification<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1gnj9sk\" data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1383\">It is important to determine the right type of transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1388\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1joohwi\" data-start=\"1390\" data-end=\"1403\">Additionally<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1421\">They also remind us:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1423\" data-end=\"1545\">\n<li data-section-id=\"owb0n6\" data-start=\"1423\" data-end=\"1462\">cars can be seized for the needs of the Armed Forces<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1skgkcb\" data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1498\">but only specialised equipment<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1hojajn\" data-start=\"1499\" data-end=\"1545\">ordinary passenger cars are not covered by this<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1547\" data-end=\"1550\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1ycnhvc\" data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"1564\">Conclusion.<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1715\"><strong data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1629\">The new rules make the transport market more controlled.<\/strong><br data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1632\" \/>The benefits were left only for container transport -
