Scale of drone attacks on Ukraine<\/h2>\n

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky<\/strong> reported that in September alone, Russian troops carried out almost 6,900 drone attacks<\/strong> on the territory of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Among them are more than 3,600 strikes were carried out by Shahed kamikaze drones<\/strong>, Russia receives from Iran.<\/p>\n

According to Syrsky, such intensive use of drones indicates the Kremlin's attempt to deplete Ukraine's air defence system and inflict maximum damage to critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, a significant number of drones were shot down by air defence forces, and international partners continue to reinforce Ukraine with modern air defence equipment.<\/p>\n

What's next<\/h2>\n

The Ukrainian military expects a further increase in the intensity of attacks using UAVs in autumn and winter. This is due to Russia's preparations for a new campaign of attacks on energy facilities.<\/p>\n
