This was announced by Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Derkach, explaining that this is a requirement of the European Union.<\/p>\n<h2>EU requirements for technical inspections<\/h2>\n<p>According to the Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories <strong>Sergey<\/strong> <strong>Derkacha<\/strong>, mandatory technical inspection for all cars is a requirement of the European Union. Ukraine has until the end of 2027 to comply with this requirement in order to meet European standards.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, technical inspections are not mandatory for all vehicles in Ukraine. The introduction of the new rules will be part of the harmonisation of Ukrainian legislation with EU standards.<\/p>\n<h2>Implementation timeframe and responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p>According to the statement <strong>Derkacha<\/strong>, According to the Law, the mandatory inspection will be introduced by the end of 2027. Details on the procedure, frequency and liability for non-compliance have not yet been disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>The introduction of technical inspection applies to all vehicle owners, without exception.
