The Housing Voucher and eVosstanovlenie differ not only in the amounts but also in the conditions of receipt. Here's what you need to know before applying.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1kmw4no\" data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"368\">What is a housing voucher and \u00abeVodnovlenie\u00bb?\u00bb<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"370\" data-end=\"538\">Ukraine has various instruments of compensation for housing destroyed or lost due to the war. The most discussed among them are the housing voucher and the eRestoration certificate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"631\">Despite their similar goals, these programmes have different conditions, grounds for granting and categories of recipients.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"636\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"6t0guh\" data-start=\"638\" data-end=\"668\">What is the compensation for?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"879\">The housing voucher provides a fixed compensation of UAH 2 million. It is aimed at people who were forced to leave the temporarily occupied territories, including the regions occupied since 2014.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"1075\">The \u00abeRestoration\u00bb certificate is issued for housing destroyed after 24 February 2022 in the territory controlled by Ukraine. The amount is determined individually, depending on the area, type of property and region.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1080\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"12f2xti\" data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1111\">Who can get help<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1156\">Recipients of a housing voucher can be:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1287\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1v1iu0g\" data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1221\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/economics\/vpo-vyplaty-3000-hrn-z-liutoho-2026\/\">internally displaced persons<\/a> from the temporarily occupied territories<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"q08k3q\" data-start=\"1222\" data-end=\"1246\">combatants<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1fe9vx6\" data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1287\">Persons with disabilities as a result of war<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1289\" data-end=\"1332\">The eRestore certificate is intended for:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1473\">\n<li data-section-id=\"gphvhm\" data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1380\">owners or co-owners of destroyed housing<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"il27wf\" data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1409\">heirs of such property<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"a9qrfj\" data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1473\">Persons whose homes can be inspected (on-site or remotely)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1571\">Both programmes are subject to common restrictions: no sanctions or convictions for certain crimes.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1576\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1li33qo\" data-start=\"1578\" data-end=\"1608\">Conditions for receiving compensation<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1610\" data-end=\"1834\">For a housing voucher, the key condition is that the applicant or his or her family does not have a home in the government-controlled territory. The only exceptions are properties in the occupied territories, in the war zone, or housing with an outstanding loan.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1836\" data-end=\"2018\">For the eRestore certificate, you need to confirm the ownership of <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/vazhlyvo-znaty\/new-rules-of-the-law-of-the-republic-of-kazakhstan\/\">destroyed housing<\/a> in the state register. At the same time, the availability of other housing does not affect the right to receive compensation.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2020\" data-end=\"2023\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"rm148u\" data-start=\"2025\" data-end=\"2041\">Important to know<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2043\" data-end=\"2151\">The housing voucher and the eVodnovlennya certificate are two different assistance mechanisms that do not replace each other.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2153\" data-end=\"2324\">The voucher is targeted at internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied territories, while eRestoration is aimed at owners of housing destroyed during the full-scale war.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2326\" data-end=\"2430\">The choice of programme depends on the person's status, the date of loss of housing and
