Ukrainians over 40 will receive funds on \u00abDiia\u00bb card for medical examination - Lyashko<\/h2>\n

From 1 January 2026<\/strong> Ukrainians aged from 40 years<\/strong> will be able to receive state funds to the \u201cDiia\u201d card\u201d<\/strong> to pass preventive medical examination<\/strong>.
This was reported by Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

How the programme will work<\/h2>\n

According to Lyashko, the state will compensate for the costs of medical examinations, medical consultations and laboratory tests<\/strong>.
The funds will be transferred to the \u201cDiia\u201d card\u201d<\/strong>, after which the patient will be able to choose a medical institution on your own<\/strong> for the examination.<\/p>\n

\n

\u00abWe want preventive examinations to become a common practice. A person will receive money from the state, make an appointment and undergo a basic medical screening,\u00bb the minister explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

Free medicines in case of disease detection<\/h2>\n

If the examination reveals any health problems, the patient receive an electronic prescription<\/strong> on free or partially reimbursed medicines<\/strong>.
The aim of the programme is to detection of diseases at early stages<\/strong> \u0456 Reducing the burden on the healthcare system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00abThis is an investment in the health of Ukrainians, not an expense,\u00bb Lyashko said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The programme will start in 2026<\/h2>\n

A pilot launch of the system is planned for early 2026<\/strong>, and will be expanded to all regions of Ukraine.
