Almost 60% of Ukrainian citizens do not agree to the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Donbas, even in exchange for security guarantees. These are the findings of a recent KIIS poll. The sociologists also note that this figure has decreased by 51% compared to previous waves of the survey.<\/p>\n

Ukrainians are not ready to give up Donbas<\/h2>\n

According to the KIIS, 60% of respondents believe that Russia is the biggest obstacle to ending the war. Another 14% of respondents named the United States as the main culprit for prolonging the conflict. This distribution of responses demonstrates how Ukrainians assess external factors influencing the duration of the war.<\/p>\n

Sociologists note that these figures have remained stable in recent months. The issue of responsibility for the prolongation of the war remains one of the key issues in the public debate.<\/p>\n

Expectations for the end of the war<\/h2>\n

Almost 40% of Ukrainian citizens believe that war<\/a> will not be completed before the second half of 2027. This reflects the pessimistic expectations of a large part of society for a quick resolution of the situation.<\/p>\n

At the same time, 48% of respondents said they were ready to endure the war for as long as it takes to achieve Ukraine's goals. Almost a third of respondents believe they can withstand up to six months of active hostilities.<\/p>\n

The results of the KIIS poll reflect the current mood of Ukrainian society on key issues of the war. The majority's refusal to make concessions on Donbas, even in exchange for guarantees, demonstrates a high level of patriotism and readiness to defend the country's territorial integrity.<\/p>\n
