In Ukraine, law enforcement officers discovered 20 caches of weapons and ammunition in different regions. During the operation, more than 1,000 weapons were seized and 32 people were served with a notice of suspicion.<\/p>\n

A large-scale operation by the National Police<\/h2>\n

According to the National Police's State Investigation Department, a comprehensive operation was conducted in Ukraine to detect and seize illegal weapons. SBI operatives, investigators of the Main Department of the National Police, together with the SBU, prosecutors, explosives experts and the Military Police conducted more than 180 searches in different regions of the country. According to the National Police's Internal Affairs Department<\/a>, The police found 20 caches of weapons and ammunition, which poses a significant threat to public safety.<\/p>\n

In total, law enforcement officers seized more than 1,000 weapons and ammunition during the week. In particular, 154 small arms, 904 grenade launchers, grenades and mines, more than 56,500 rounds of ammunition of various calibres, almost 80 kg of explosives, as well as 134 magazines and firearms components were seized.<\/p>\n
