Over the past week, more than 130,000 cases of influenza, ARVI and COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine.<\/strong>
This was reported in the Public Health Centres (PHCs)<\/strong>. The epidemic season will continue until 17 May 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The beginning of the epidemic season<\/h2>\n

The CPC experts have officially announced the beginning of the epidemic season<\/strong> flu, ARVI and COVID-19 in Ukraine.
In most regions, there is already a a gradual increase in the number of visits to doctors<\/strong> due to respiratory infections.<\/p>\n

\u00abWe see a seasonal increase in the incidence, particularly among school-age children. This is a typical beginning of the epidemic period,\u00bb the Public Health Centre said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Performance over the past week<\/h2>\n

Over the past seven days, doctors have recorded more than 130 thousand new cases<\/strong>, of them:<\/p>\n

    More than 76 thousand are children<\/strong> (58% from all patients),<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    The rest are adults of working age,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 is also growing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What do doctors advise<\/h2>\n

    Doctors call on Ukrainians get vaccinated against influenza<\/strong> and follow basic preventive measures:
