Today, the General Staff reported the defeat of Russian Iskander positions near Druzhne in Crimea. Key enemy radar facilities were also hit, and infrastructure for controlling and repairing drones was destroyed in eastern and southern Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Defeat of Iskander positions in Crimea<\/h2>\n

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian Iskander missile systems were used to hit positions near Druzhne in occupied Crimea<\/a>. In addition, the defence forces struck at the MIS-M1 coastal radar station in Mayak, as well as the Podlyot radar near Yevpatoriya.<\/p>\n

The destruction of these facilities significantly affects the enemy's ability to detect and respond to the actions of Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea region. The destruction of radar infrastructure makes it more difficult for the enemy to control the airspace and reduces the effectiveness of missile weapons.<\/p>\n

Strikes on UAV infrastructure in Donetsk region<\/h2>\n

The General Staff also reported the successful defeat of three drone control points in Donetsk region. According to the headquarters, these strikes make it difficult for the enemy to coordinate drones in the combat zone. The destruction of such points limits the ability of Russian troops to conduct reconnaissance and adjust fire using UAVs.<\/p>\n

In addition to the control points, a drone depot in Novopetrykivka was destroyed. This further reduces the enemy's potential to use drones for reconnaissance and attacks on Ukrainian troops.<\/p>\n

Destruction of enemy repair and logistics facilities<\/h2>\n

Operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/a> also affected a repair unit near Kadiivka in Luhansk region. According to the General Staff, the disruption of the repair infrastructure makes it difficult to maintain the combat capability of enemy equipment in this area.<\/p>\n

In addition, an ammunition depot in Ivanivka, Kherson region, was struck. The destruction of ammunition depots significantly affects the logistics of Russian troops and reduces their firepower in the region.<\/p>\n

Why it matters<\/h2>\n

The destruction of Iskander positions and radar stations in Crimea significantly weakens the enemy's defence capability in the southern direction. This opens up additional opportunities for the manoeuvre of Ukrainian forces and reduces the risk of missile attacks on Ukrainian territory.<\/p>\n

Strikes on UAV control and depots, as well as on logistics infrastructure in Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions, make it difficult for the enemy to conduct reconnaissance, adjust fire and supply ammunition. This may affect the pace of offensive and defensive actions of Russian troops in these regions.<\/p>\n
