Russia has amassed a significant arsenal of missiles of various types and does not reduce its stockpile even after frequent attacks. According to the GUR, Moscow is, on the contrary, increasing the pace of arms production, which creates additional risks for the security of Ukraine and Europe.<\/p>\n

Russia retains significant stockpiles of missiles<\/h2>\n

According to the information GUR<\/strong>, As of mid-April 2026, Russia had thousands of missiles of various types in its arsenal. These included X-29\/31\/35\/58\/59 guided missiles (up to 2,600 units), Iskander-M ballistic missiles (up to 200 units), Iskander-K cruise missiles (up to 110 units), and Daggers (up to 100 units). Russia also had up to 460 Kalibr missiles, up to 690 Oniks cruise missiles, up to 120 X-101 missiles for Tu-160\/Tu-95 aircraft, up to 350 X-22\/32 missiles for Tu-22, up to 230 Zircon missiles, up to 50 North Korean KN-23 ballistic missiles, up to 450 RM-48U strike missiles for S-300PM\/S-400 air defence systems, up to 25 X-69 guided missiles and up to 10 Oreshnikovs.<\/p>\n

A detailed analysis shows that even frequent missile attacks<\/a> do not deplete Russia's stockpiles. This confirms that the country retains the ability to conduct prolonged missile attacks, posing a constant threat to Ukraine and other countries in the region. According to the DIU, Russia's arsenals remain at a high level, which complicates air defence tasks.<\/p>\n

Missile production in Russia is growing<\/h2>\n

According to the DIU, Russia is not only not exhausting its stockpile, but is actively increasing missile production. Every month, the country is able to produce up to 60 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, up to 10 Iskander-K cruise missiles, up to 10 Daggers, up to 25 Kalibr missiles, up to 70 X-101 missiles, up to 8 X-32 missiles, up to 5 Oniks missiles, up to 3 Zircon missiles, about 20 X-35 guided missiles, up to 5 X-69 missiles, up to 40 RM-48U strike missiles, and up to 50 X-29\/31\/35\/58\/59 guided missiles.<\/p>\n
