Former Chief Military Prosecutor Viktor Chumak said that Ukrainians who went abroad because of the war should pay double taxes for ten years after returning. At the same time, Chumak himself won a pension of UAH 241,000 and compensation of about UAH 7 million in court, despite his short tenure.<\/p>\n

Former Chief Military Prosecutor Viktor Chumak<\/strong> made a resonant statement about Ukrainians who went abroad during the war. According to him, upon returning to Ukraine, such citizens should pay double taxes for ten years.<\/p>\n

The initiative caused a sharp reaction in society, because millions of Ukrainians fled the country due to the fighting<\/strong>, The people of Ukraine have been subjected to violence, shelling and threats to the lives of their families. Many people lost their homes, jobs and were forced to start their lives from scratch in other countries.<\/p>\n

According to Ukrmedia, Chumak's statement has already become the subject of active discussion on social media and in the expert community.<\/p>\n

Against the backdrop of this statement, the financial situation of Viktor Chumak himself attracts special attention.
