On the night of 9 May, Russia attacked Sumy region, causing a large-scale fire to break out in the Berezivska community on the territory of a private household. Due to the threat of repeated attacks, rescuers were forced to suspend firefighting operations. No one was injured in the incident.<\/p>\n

On the night of 9 May, Russian troops struck again in the Sumy region. According to local authorities, a large-scale fire broke out in the Berezivska community on the territory of a private household. Rescue units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arrived at the scene promptly, but due to the threat of repeated shelling, they were forced to temporarily suspend operations and move to a safe place.<\/p>\n

Consequences of the attack for the Berezivska community<\/h2>\n

The Russian attack on Sumy region has once again demonstrated the danger to the region's civilian infrastructure. A large-scale fire in the private sector could have resulted in much greater losses, but the prompt actions of rescuers prevented the fire from spreading.
