On 10 May, an armed attack on servicemen while they were performing their duties was recorded in Podil district of Odesa region. Two servicemen received multiple stab wounds and were hospitalised in serious condition.<\/p>\n

Armed attack in Baibuzivka<\/h2>\n

According to official information from the leadership of the Odesa Regional Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support, on 10 May, in the village of Baibuzivka, Savranska settlement community, Podil district an armed attack on the military took place<\/strong>. During a joint patrol, the alert group, together with representatives of the National Police, stopped a citizen to check his military registration documents.<\/p>\n

According to official sources, the inspection revealed that the man was wanted for violating rules of military registration<\/a>. He was escorted to the territorial recruitment centre to complete administrative materials.<\/p>\n

The circumstances of the attack and the condition of the victims<\/h2>\n

During the escort, the offender grabbed a cold steel weapon and inflicted numerous stab wounds<\/strong> two soldiers of the alert group. Both victims were immediately hospitalised, where doctors are fighting for their lives. The condition of the wounded remains serious.<\/p>\n

The management of the Odesa regional TCC<\/a> and the JV emphasises that this was a deliberate attempt to kill the defenders of Ukraine, who were performing a state task. Such actions are classified as a particularly serious crime against members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement agencies have launched an urgent investigation into the attack. The management of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV provides full support for the investigation and insists on bringing the perpetrator to justice in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n

The official statement emphasises that no circumstances can justify Committing violence against the military<\/a>. Such manifestations of aggression are seen as a direct blow to the state's defence capability and the security of society.<\/p>\n
