Ukraine has launched a large-scale intensive training programme for patrol police officers, which lasts two weeks at special training grounds. The police officers live in the field, where they practice actions in crisis situations under the guidance of National Guard combat instructors.<\/p>\n

Large-scale patrol training: conditions and features<\/h2>\n

For two weeks, patrol police officers undergo intensive training at training grounds with conditions close to combat. The participants reportedly live on the territory of the training grounds, where they train daily in difficult circumstances that simulate real threats. The training programme includes firearms training, tactics in confined spaces, storming premises and detention of armed criminals in groups.<\/p>\n

Combat instructors from the 1st and 2nd National Guard Corps share their experience with patrol officers, ensuring that the scenarios are as realistic as possible. As a result, police officers learn the skills that may be needed during emergencies in cities and at the sites of shelling.<\/p>\n

Psychological and tactical training<\/h2>\n

Special attention is paid to psychological endurance. Police officers run through an obstacle course with the sound of explosions, simulated drone flights and fire. This allows them to learn how to make decisions without panic, even under extreme stress.<\/p>\n

Tactical medicine is another key area of the programme. The patrol officers are trained to stop critical bleeding and evacuate the wounded, which is especially important in situations where they are the first to arrive at the scene of shelling or terrorist attacks<\/a>. The course concludes with a challenging exam that simulates real-life crisis situations.
