Despite the sanctions, several EU states have increased purchases of Russian oil and gas<\/h2>\n

The seven countries of the European Union are France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Croatia, Romania, Portugal and Hungary<\/strong> - increased energy imports from Russia<\/strong>, the agency reports Reuters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Highest growth in France and the Netherlands<\/h2>\n

According to statistics, France increases imports of Russian energy by 40% to \u20ac2.2bn<\/strong>, \u0430 Netherlands - by 72%, to EUR 498 million<\/strong>.
Growth was also recorded in Belgium, Croatia, Romania, Portugal and Hungary.<\/p>\n

Sanctions do not stop flows<\/h2>\n

Despite Brussels' public statements, the EU remains one of the largest buyers of Russian LNG after China and India<\/strong>.
