Ukraine will receive the first tranche of aid from the EU next month. Of the almost \u20ac9 billion, most of the funding will go to purchase drones for the Ukrainian army, while the rest will support the state budget.<\/p>\n

According to the information Politico<\/a>, The European Union will provide Ukraine with the first tranche of a large-scale financial assistance package worth \u20ac90 billion in June. The first tranche will amount to \u20ac9.1 billion, of which \u20ac5.9 billion will be used to purchase unmanned aerial vehicles<\/a> for the Ukrainian military. The remaining \u20ac3.2 billion will be used to replenish the state budget of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Brussels is expected to approve the terms of the first tranche this Monday. It is expected that Ukraine will receive half of the total aid package - \u20ac45 billion - by the end of 2026. The remaining \u20ac45 billion will be disbursed in 2027. This decision will allow Ukraine to plan procurement and support for the army in the coming years.<\/p>\n
