Pyongyang unveils new intercontinental ballistic missile<\/h2>\n

North Korea has conducted another A military parade in the capital Pyongyang<\/strong>, where demonstrated a new intercontinental ballistic missile for the first time<\/strong>.
The event was timed to coincide with the national holiday - the anniversary of the establishment of the Korean People's Army.<\/p>\n

\u00abThe parade showcased the latest developments in North Korean defence industry, including long-range missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles<\/em><\/strong>\u00bb, - reports Reuters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

New missile is a \u201csymbol of strategic power\u201d<\/h2>\n

According to preliminary data, the presented missile is a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM)<\/strong>, capable of overcoming thousands of kilometres<\/strong> and carry nuclear warhead<\/strong>.
DPRK state media called it \u201ca symbol of the country's strategic power<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

During the speech Kim Jong-un<\/strong> said that North Korea will continue to develop its \u201cdefence capabilities\u201d and \u201cwill not allow any enemy to threaten its sovereignty\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00abWe are showing the world that no amount of pressure will break our spirit and our willingness to defend the country,\u00bb Kim said.<\/p>\n

Parade with military, vehicles and drones<\/h2>\n

Columns of soldiers, armoured vehicles, missile systems and long-range drones<\/strong>, which became a new element of this year's demonstration.
The parade was broadcast on the DPRK's central television and was accompanied by mass performances by orchestras and flag bearers.<\/p>\n

According to international analysts, New ICBMs have a modular design<\/strong> and can be launched from mobile platforms, making them difficult to detect by satellite surveillance systems.<\/p>\n

The world's reaction<\/h2>\n

The demonstration of the new missiles caused concern in the United States, South Korea and Japan.
Seoul said it was closely analysing the images of the missile, while Washington emphasised:<\/p>\n
