President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Ukrainians who are already returning from abroad and called for the issue of mass return to be raised. He expressed his belief that Ukraine will experience economic growth after the war is over.<\/p>\n

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy<\/strong> on the talk show \u201cIt's Better at Home!\u201d, created by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Presidential Office, thanked those who are already returning from abroad. He stressed that \u201cyour homeland needs you - this is not pathos, this is a fact\u201d and emphasised that Ukraine is open to everyone, but raises the issue of returning its citizens.<\/p>\n

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that he did not want to give advice to young people about return<\/a>, because \u201cit's up to you\u201d. At the same time, he expressed gratitude to those who are helping and defending the country while in Ukraine. The President added that many people will return after the war is over and will be very much needed to rebuild the country.<\/p>\n

Challenges of return and communication between Ukrainians<\/h2>\n

When asked about establishing communication between those who left and those who stayed, Zelensky<\/a> stated that people often build walls because they do not want to tell the truth. He said that many people are afraid to admit that they left because of the war and are not returning because of the risks and fears.<\/p>\n

The President emphasised: \u201cThe distance is primarily because we are often afraid to tell the truth. I think it is important to do this today, not when the war is over.\u201d He added that you can return at any time, but it is important to realise where you are and why you left, and there is nothing wrong with that.<\/p>\n

Economic prospects after the war<\/h2>\n

Zelenskyy noted that competition in the labour market in Ukraine has significantly decreased due to the war, which is a negative development for the economy. At the same time, he believes that those who have stayed in the country will have a better chance of starting their own business and succeeding.<\/p>\n

The President is convinced that Ukraine will experience a major economic recovery after the war is over. \u201cYou always invest in difficult moments,\u201d he said, adding that the state should prepare for the return of millions of Ukrainians who will be looking for a place to live in the country.<\/p>\n

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that rebuilding the country would require large investments and create new business opportunities. \u201cIf there is a reconstruction, there will be money, money is brought back here by various investments, various businesses, and therefore these are opportunities,\u201d the President stressed.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
