Statement of the Cuban Foreign Ministry on the participation of Cubans in the war against Ukraine<\/h2>\n

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba issued an official statement in which categorically denies the participation of its citizens or military in Russia's war against Ukraine<\/strong>.
The document notes that Havana does not participate in armed conflict<\/strong> and condemns any attempts to link the country to the fighting.<\/p>\n

\u00abCuba is not involved in the war in Ukraine. We reject any statements that attempt to distort the position of our country,\u00bb the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Earlier, the media reported that some Cuban citizens allegedly fights as part of Russian units<\/strong> or was recruited to participate in the war against Ukraine.
This is not the first time that Havana has made such refutations, emphasising that Cuba's official policy is neutrality and a call for a peaceful resolution of the conflict<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
