At the same time, the Genichesk-Arabatska Strelka crossing was hit, causing large-scale power outages in eight occupied municipalities. As a result, Russian troops are forced to redirect their convoys to a much longer and more vulnerable route.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\">\n<div class=\"summary-title\">Briefly about the main points<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The Chongar bridge was completely destroyed after two strikes.<\/li>\n<li>Traffic through Dzhankoy is completely blocked.<\/li>\n<li>A strike on the Genichesk-Arabatska Strelka crossing brought traffic to a standstill.<\/li>\n<li>Russian convoys are forced to use a longer and more dangerous route.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>The destruction of the Chongar Bridge: a chronology of attacks<\/h2>\n<p>Ukrainian forces conducted two FrontStrike operations that resulted in the complete disabling of the Chongar Bridge. The first strike on 7 June damaged the roadway in one direction, forcing the occupiers to reverse traffic. On the night of 9 June, a joint operation by the Phalanx Multi-Domain Operations Centre, the 1st Separate Assault Regiment and the 475th Separate Air Assault Brigade led to the final defeat of the crossing. The use of FP-2 drones allowed for the complete destruction of the bridge's infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Although the structure did not collapse completely, traffic was blocked for a long period of time. Ukrainian forces are in control of the area and are ready to repeat the strikes in case of repair attempts.<\/p>\n<h2>Strikes on the Genichesk-Arabatska Strelka crossing and the consequences of the power outage<\/h2>\n<p>On 10 June, the crossing between Genichesk and Arabatska Strelka came under attack. According to a collaborator <strong>Vladimir Saldo<\/strong>, traffic through this section is temporarily closed. At the same time, eight municipal districts in the occupied Kherson region suffered large-scale power outages due to drone attacks, including in Henichesk, Chaplynka and Nova Kakhovka.<\/p>\n<p>These events have significantly <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/politics\/zelenskyi-dalekobiini-udary-po-rf-cherven\/\">weaken Russian logistics<\/a> and complicate the supply of the occupation forces.<\/p>\n<h2>Impact on Russian military logistics<\/h2>\n<p>Previously, the main route for the occupiers was through Chongar - Dzhankoy - Melitopol, which was short and relatively safe. Now the convoys are forced to take a detour through Armyansk, Perekop and Chaplynka, which lengthens the route by 150-200 km and brings them closer to the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n<p>This creates additional risks for Russian equipment and fuel tankers, which are now more vulnerable to attack <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/analitika\/fpv-drony-u-viyni-yak-pratsyuyut\/\">FPV drones<\/a> medium-range weapons that can cause significant damage while driving.<\/p>\n<h2>The strategic importance of the operations for the defence of southern Ukraine<\/h2>\n<p>The destruction of key transport arteries leads to the logistical collapse of the occupiers in the south. Control over the crossings allows the defence forces to increase pressure and maintain the initiative in the region. Such strikes demonstrate the consistent and systematic work of the Ukrainian military to destabilise enemy communications.<\/p>\n<p>The blocking of major supply routes significantly complicates the operational supply of Russian troops, which may affect their ability to hold the occupied territories.<\/p>\n<h2>Reaction of the occupation administration and prospects for repair<\/h2>\n<p>The Russian occupation administration is trying to downplay the scale of the destruction, claiming that \u00abair defence systems are working successfully\u00bb. However, in fact, traffic through key crossing points is blocked. Given the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over sections of the bridges, attempts to repair them may be subject to further attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the logistical collapse of the occupiers in Kherson region is a serious challenge to their military operations and contributes to strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities in the
