Additional funds for winter support from the EU<\/h3>\n

European Union will allocate another EUR 100 million to Ukraine<\/strong> to prepare for the winter period.
This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas<\/strong> during a joint press conference with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga<\/strong> in Kyiv.<\/p>\n

According to Callas, the new package is aimed at maintaining energy stability<\/strong>, provision of the population generators, heating systems, shelters and winter equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00abThe European Union has already mobilised 800 million euros<\/strong> to support Ukraine this winter, and we are working on additional 100 million<\/strong> for generators, shelters and equipment for frosty conditions,\u00bb said Kallas.<\/p>\n

She added that the aid is coordinated through EU Emergency Response Centre (ERCC)<\/strong>, The company has been working to deliver equipment to the affected regions as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n
