{"id":22276,"date":"2026-06-13T10:36:22","date_gmt":"2026-06-13T07:36:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/?p=22276"},"modified":"2026-06-13T10:36:22","modified_gmt":"2026-06-13T07:36:22","slug":"shtrafuvatymut-za-nezakonnu-derzhdopomohu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/vazhlyvo-znaty\/shtrafuvatymut-za-nezakonnu-derzhdopomohu\/","title":{"rendered":"Officials to face fines for supporting businesses: what will change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is radically changing the rules of the game when it comes to state support for business. <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"94\">8 June 2026<\/b> Two interrelated bills have been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, which introduce for the first time <i data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"203\">personal administrative liability<\/i> for managers and officials responsible for granting state aid:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"4\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Project No. 15304<\/b> \u2014 amendments to the Law of Ukraine \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/itd.rada.gov.ua\/billinfo\/Bills\/Card\/70154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">On State Aid to Businesses<\/a>\u00bb;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Project No. 15305<\/b> \u2014 amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences (CUAO).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Please note!<\/b> The new sanctions are directed exclusively at <b data-path-to-node=\"5,0\" data-index-in-node=\"49\">aid providers<\/b> \u2014 officials and heads of public authorities who make decisions on supporting businesses using state or local resources. The recipients themselves (the businesses) do not fall under the new categories of offences.<\/p>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"7\">What will people be fined for, and how exactly?<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">It is proposed that the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences be amended to include a new <b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"79\">Article 166-29<\/b>, which identifies three main categories of violations:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-path-to-node=\"9\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Failure to notify the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU)<\/b> regarding new state aid.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The provision of assistance deemed unacceptable<\/b> to compete.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Failure to provide information or misrepresentation of information<\/b>, which is necessary for monitoring state aid.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"10\">Amounts of fines<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">Offenders
