The programme is based on European approaches and provides comprehensive support in the areas of infrastructure, healthcare, education and business. In parallel, legislative initiatives are being developed to stimulate investment and the recovery of these regions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\">\n<div class=\"summary-title\">Briefly about the main points<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>216 frontline communities across 10 regions of Ukraine are receiving support.<\/li>\n<li>The Ministry of Development\u2019s programme is based on the principles of the EU\u2019s cohesion policy.<\/li>\n<li>The government is allocating additional funding for infrastructure, healthcare and education.<\/li>\n<li>Legislative measures are being developed to encourage investment and business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>The scale of support for Ukraine\u2019s frontline communities<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Oleksiy Kuleba<\/strong> noted that 216 communities across ten regions of Ukraine are currently located in areas of active or potential hostilities. Of these, 74 communities are situated directly within areas of active hostilities, whilst 142 are in areas of potential hostilities. This fact highlights the need for comprehensive support to ensure the stability and development of these communities.<\/p>\n<h2>The state programme as a tool for development<\/h2>\n<p>The Ministry of Regional Development is drawing up a State Support Programme <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/analitika\/zhyttia-u-pryfrontovykh-mistakh\/\">frontline areas<\/a> and recovery areas. It is being developed in line with the principles of the European Union\u2019s cohesion policy. The programme provides for a systematic support mechanism with clear priorities and predictable funding, which will ensure a long-term vision for the development of communities in challenging security conditions.<\/p>\n<h2>A two-pronged approach to support<\/h2>\n<p>Kuleba emphasised the importance of working simultaneously on two fronts: providing rapid support to communities through government measures, including additional funding for critical infrastructure, healthcare, education, business and social services; and establishing systemic mechanisms that will enable communities to develop for years to come. This approach should ensure not only immediate assistance but also sustainable development.<\/p>\n<h2>Legislative initiatives to promote development<\/h2>\n<p>In parallel with the programme, the Ministry of Regional Development is drafting legislation designed to create additional incentives for investment, business development, infrastructure reconstruction and the return of residents to frontline areas. Such measures are intended to enhance the economic attractiveness of the regions and contribute to their stabilisation.<\/p>\n<h2>Coordination at the highest level<\/h2>\n<p>Discussions on social and humanitarian support measures for frontline areas took place with the participation of the Head of the President\u2019s Office <strong>Kirill Budanov<\/strong>, Prime Minister <strong>Yulia Sviridenko<\/strong>, heads of regional state administrations and members of parliament. This demonstrates the state\u2019s strong commitment to addressing the challenges faced by communities along the contact line and its dedication to ensuring a comprehensive approach to their
