Ukraine is preparing for a difficult winter<\/h2>\n

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy<\/strong> said that the government and energy companies are preparing to possible power outages<\/strong> due to regular Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\u00abRussia is trying to make this winter as difficult as possible for Ukrainians. We are strengthening the protection of energy facilities, creating generation reserves and preparing additional electricity supply schemes<\/em>\u00bb Zelensky said.<\/p>\n

According to the President, this year the enemy has changed its tactics: instead of massive shelling across the country, it is using a series of local strikes in the regions<\/strong>, to make it harder to restore the system.<\/p>\n

Zelensky stressed that energy protection<\/strong> is one of the main tasks of the government and the military.
To this end, the work of mobile air defence teams is being strengthened, additional surveillance systems are being installed, and international partners are being engaged to help with equipment.<\/p>\n

Meeting with Trump in Washington<\/h2>\n

In addition, Zelenskyy confirmed that a meeting with Donald Trump is scheduled for Friday in Washington<\/strong>.
The main topics of the negotiations will be support for Ukraine, defence cooperation and energy security<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The meeting will take place after the summit in Washington, where the Ukrainian delegation will present an updated plan for air defence and energy recovery needs.<\/p>\n
