Artillery shelling affected border areas, particularly in the Sumy region, where the settlements of Korenok, Neskuchne, Sopych, Potapivka, Hirky, Rohizne, Prohres, Volfyne, Kozache, Marchyshina Buda, Ulanove and Yastrubshchyna. In the Chernihiv region, the shelling hit Kam\u2019yanska Sloboda, Klyusi and Bohdanove. This was reported <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/GeneralStaffZSU\/40338\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a> General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<h2>Fighting on the front line<\/h2>\n<p>Six clashes took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out 32 attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including three using multiple launch rocket systems. In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the invaders made eight attempts to breach the defences in the areas around the settlements of Lyman, Izbytske, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrimivka and in the direction of Kozacha Lopana. Four battles are still ongoing at this very moment.<\/p>\n<p>In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched a single attack on the Defence Forces\u2019 positions in the direction of Shyikivka, whilst in the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled nine attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Novoselivka, Drobysheve and Lyman. One engagement is still ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>In the Sloviansk sector, the Defence Forces successfully repelled twelve enemy attempts to advance near Zakytne and towards the settlements of Kryva Luka, Riznykivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy made a single attempt to advance towards Malynivka.<\/p>\n<h2>Defences on other fronts<\/h2>\n<p>On the Kostiantynivka front, our defenders repelled twelve attacks; in particular, ten assaults were successfully halted near the settlements of Ivanopillia and Illinivka, and in the direction of Kostiantynivka and Rusyn Yar. In the Pokrovsk sector, since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted 25 times to dislodge our troops from their positions, notably in the areas around the settlements of Dorozhne, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Kotlyne and Muravka. Three firefights are currently ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>On the Oleksandrivka front, the enemy made a single attempt to advance in the vicinity of Oleksandrohrad. On the Huliaipole front, the Defence Forces successfully repelled thirteen enemy attacks in the areas around the settlements of Rybne, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Charivne and towards Dobropillia, Kosivtsove, Zarichne, Staroukrainka, Danilivka and Hirke. One engagement is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded in the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors. In other sectors, there are currently no significant changes in the situation.
