The rise in costs will occur in two stages: initially, farmers will pay more for the delivery of fertilisers, seeds and other resources required for the sowing campaign. After the harvest, farmers will again face additional costs, this time during the transport of grain to ports and export terminals.<\/p>\n<h2>The cost of production continues to rise<\/h2>\n<p>The expert emphasised that the agricultural sector is already facing a significant rise in production costs due to the war, as well as increases in the cost of logistics, energy and production resources. In his view, a review of tariffs is only possible if the carrier offers its customers better-quality or new services. However, in the case of the planned tariff increases, the business does not currently see any such improvements.<\/p>\n<h2>The business community has appealed to the authorities<\/h2>\n<p>Industrial and agricultural associations have already appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Office of the President, calling on them to prevent a rise in Ukrzaliznytsia\u2019s fares.
