And the latest tranche of 3.2 billion euros will also go towards these salaries,\u00bb emphasised Gorbenko.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of June, Ukraine officially received its first <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/economics\/es-prybrav-koshty-na-drony\/\">tranche<\/a> amounting to 3.2 billion euros as part of a new large-scale lending programme from the European Union <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/economics\/ukrayina-otrimala-oboronnij-transh-vid-es\/\">Ukraine Support Loan<\/a>. The total budget for this programme for 2026\u20132027 is 90 billion euros, with funds allocated to support fiscal stability, the social sector and the strengthening of the country\u2019s defence capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Gorbenko also noted that over the past five years, MPs\u2019 salaries have not changed significantly; there has only been a scheduled annual indexation of around 4%.
