On the night of 5\u20136 July, Russian occupying forces launched yet another large-scale combined attack on the Ukrainian capital. The enemy deployed several types of weaponry simultaneously, including attack drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. In particular, the use of hypersonic missiles of the type \u00ab<\/b>Zircon\u00bb<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Air defence forces managed to shoot down a significant number of enemy targets; however, as a result of falling debris and direct hits, damage, fires and casualties have been reported in several areas of the city.<\/p>\n

    Human losses and casualties<\/h2>\n

    According to official figures from the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) and the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko<\/strong>, as of this morning, the situation is as follows:<\/p>\n

      Fatalities:<\/b> Death confirmed 5 people<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Casualties:<\/b> At least 24 people<\/b> sustained injuries of varying severity. Some of the injured were taken to hospital, whilst others were treated at the scene.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Saving people:<\/b> Rescuers from the State Emergency Service carried out a complex operation in the Podilskyi district. Fifteen people, including six children and three women, were evacuated from the damaged high-rise block. People were brought down from the upper floors via blocked stairwells.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\r\n
