In Nevinnomyssk, in the Stavropol Krai of Russia, drones attacked a warehouse complex on the night of 22 July, after which a major fire broke out at the site. Tatyana Kim, the founder of Wildberries, confirmed the attack on the company\u2019s logistics centres in Nevinnomyssk and Krasnodar. Staff were evacuated.<\/p>\n

According to the latest reports from Russian sources, the number of people injured in the attack on the warehouse in Nevinnomyssk has risen to five. Earlier, the governor of the Stavropol Krai, Vladimir Vladimirov, had reported two casualties.<\/p>\n

A warehouse caught fire following a drone attack in Nevinnomyssk<\/h2>\n

The governor of the Stavropol Krai reported the attack Vladimir Vladimirov<\/strong>. According to him, drones attacked the outskirts of Nevinnomyssk, causing a fire at a warehouse complex.<\/p>\n

Initial reports from the Russian authorities stated that two people had been injured. Subsequently, the Russian media reported that the number of people injured in the attack had risen to five.<\/p>\n

Footage circulating on social media shows a large-scale fire and a huge column of thick black smoke rising above the city. The full extent of the damage to the logistics complex is currently being assessed.<\/p>\n

Wildberries has confirmed an attack on its logistics centre<\/h2>\n

Founder of Wildberries Tetyana Kim<\/strong> confirmed that, on the night of 22 July, the company\u2019s logistics centres in two Russian cities \u2014 Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk \u2014 were attacked.<\/p>\n

According to her, staff at the sites were evacuated promptly, and company employees, together with the relevant services, are working to deal with the aftermath. Kim also stated that the company would provide the necessary assistance to those affected.<\/p>\n

Operations at the logistics centres in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk were suspended following the evacuation of staff.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Wildberries\u2019 warehouses have come under attack<\/h2>\n

The new attack took place just a few days after large-scale strikes on other targets Wildberries logistics centres<\/a> in Russia. On 18 July, drones attacked the company\u2019s warehouses in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, and Elektrostal, Moscow Oblast. According to the Russian authorities, there were fatalities and dozens of casualties.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian side had previously stated that the strikes on Russian logistics facilities were linked to their use in supply chains for drone components and navigation equipment. However, at the time of writing, there have been no official statements from the Ukrainian military regarding the attack on the facility in Nevinnomyssk.<\/p>\n

A series of strikes on large warehouse complexes highlights the growing risks to Russia\u2019s logistics infrastructure far from the front line.
