You can submit your details remotely via the «Reserve+» app after logging in via BankID. There is no need to visit the Territorial Recruitment Centre or the Military Registration and Enlistment Office, nor to undergo a medical examination, for the online procedure.

Briefly about the main points

This requirement applies to all boys born in 2009.

Online registration is available on Reserve+ up to and including 31 July.

You need to log in via BankID to access the app.

Once the request has been processed, a Reserve ID is generated with the status «Conscript».

Being registered for military service at the age of 17 does not mean you will be called up.

Who the requirement applies to

All male Ukrainian citizens who will turn 17 in 2026 must register for military service. This applies to young men born in 2009, regardless of the specific month or day of their birth.

The period set aside for this runs from 1 January to 31 July. Therefore, those who will turn 17 at the end of the year must also complete the procedure.

Once their details have been entered into the Unified State Register, a person is granted «Conscript» status. This confirms that the state holds their registration details, rather than signifying a call-up for military service.

How to submit data via the app

You can complete the procedure online before the deadline. You will need to install «Reserve+.» or update the app to the latest version, log in via BankID, select the «Register» option on the home screen, check your details and confirm the request.

Once the application has been processed automatically, an electronic military registration document — a Reserve ID with the status «Conscript» — should appear in the app. The online method is also available to those who are abroad, provided they can log in via BankID and complete the electronic identification process.

If there is no such button, you should check for updates to the app. Another possible reason is that the young person is already registered: in that case, a generated Reserve ID will be displayed once you have logged in.

When to contact the TCC

There is no need to visit the regional recruitment and social support centre in person if your application on «Reserve+» has been successfully processed. VLC The following are also not covered by this stage: the electronic procedure relates to the entry and verification of personal data in the register.

You will need to contact the TCC if the application does not process the request, there are errors in the register, or the status has not changed after the data has been confirmed.

After 31 July, online registration for 17-year-olds will close. Those who are not yet 18 must apply in person at the Territorial Centre for Military Registration and Enlistment (TCK) and the Military Registration and Enlistment Office (SP) in their place of residence. Failure to meet the deadline constitutes a breach of military registration rules; however, a fine is not automatically imposed on 1 August: administrative liability is assessed by the competent authority, taking the circumstances into account.

Rules for when you reach the age of majority and documents required for school

Once you reach the age of 18, you will either be automatically registered based on data from the State Migration Service or you can register yourself via «Reserve+». Under the automatic mechanism, the system determines your local registration office based on your registered or declared place of residence. You may not receive a separate notification of your inclusion in the register, so you should check your status in the app.

Educational institutions keep individual records military registration of pupils and may ask to see your military registration document. You can use your Reserve ID in the app, a document from the «Diya» portal, or a printed version of this document with a QR code. The school is not permitted to require a paper registration certificate instead of a valid electronic document.

Registration does not constitute grounds for mobilisation

Registration at the age of 17 does not constitute conscription and does not mean that a person will be sent to a military unit. The «Conscript» status is used to record data for military registration and to generate an electronic document.

Undergoing a medical examination, being granted the status of a person liable for military service, and issues relating to conscription during mobilisation are governed by specific regulations. The Reserve ID itself, with the status «Conscript», does not constitute grounds for the mobilisation of a minor.

Don’t leave submitting your enquiry until the last day: due to the high volume of enquiries or technical issues, processing it may take longer than usual.

All young men born in 2009 must register for military service by 31 July.
