The number of operational-tactical-level UAVs destroyed stands at 426,836, and that of cruise missiles at 4,943.<\/p>\n<h2>The intensity of fighting on the eastern fronts<\/h2>\n<p>High daily casualty figures have been recorded against a backdrop of intense fighting. The General Staff\u2019s summary for the previous day reported 233 combat engagements, 36 of which took place in the Pokrovsk sector. High levels of activity were also recorded in the Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, Lyman and Huliaipole sectors.<\/p>\n<p>According to the General Staff, Russian forces fired three missiles, dropped 308 guided aerial bombs, deployed over 10,400 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,230 shelling attacks over the past 24 hours. Such intensity indicates that Russia is maintaining significant pressure across several sections of the front, but does not in itself indicate a change in control over territories.<\/p>\n<h2>Drones, artillery and logistics in a war of attrition<\/h2>\n<p>The losses of unmanned aerial vehicles, artillery and motorised vehicles, as highlighted in the daily summary, are consistent with the nature of modern warfare, in which reconnaissance, firepower and the logistical support of troops are of great importance.<\/p>\n<p>On 23 July, the Defence Forces also reported that a tanker had been hit <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/viyna\/urazhennia-tiniovoho-flotu-rf-159-suden\/\">in the Black Sea<\/a>, which, according to their information, was transporting oil, petroleum products and fuel on behalf of the Russian Federation\u2019s armed forces, as well as a pontoon crossing near Novoeekonomichne in the Donetsk region.
