This was reported by the Sumy regional police, who are documenting the aftermath of the strikes in seven local communities. The identity of the third victim is being established.<\/p>\n<p>Two more people were affected: a 33-year-old man was injured, whilst a 28-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction.<\/p>\n<h2>Reports of casualties were received from several communities<\/h2>\n<p>In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a 51-year-old man was injured in a drone strike on 23 July and died the following day. In the Krolevets community, a 41-year-old man was injured after being struck by a UAV; details of another casualty are being established.<\/p>\n<p>In the Mykolaiv community, two civilians were injured; their identities are currently being established. In the Buryn community, a 53-year-old man was injured, and in the Shostka community, a 46-year-old man was injured.<\/p>\n<p>A 54-year-old woman who was struck by a drone on 23 July in the Seredino-Budsk community also sought treatment at the medical facility.<\/p>\n<h2>The police are gathering evidence of the attacks<\/h2>\n<p>Police investigation and operations teams, bomb disposal experts and other specialist services were working at the sites of the strikes. Law enforcement officers documented the damage and gathered evidence of the consequences of the attacks.<\/p>\n<p>The police report does not provide any information on the exact locations of the strikes, the types of drones used in these incidents, or the condition of all those affected.<\/p>\n<h2>The intensity of the attacks on the region was increasing<\/h2>\n<p>The attacks took place against a backdrop of high intensity <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/suspilstvo\/sumy-voda-grafik-pislya-obstriliv-rf\/\">shelling of the Sumy region<\/a>. According to the regional military administration, between the morning of 23 July and the morning of 24 July, nearly 90 shelling incidents were recorded in the region, targeting 24 settlements across 12 communities.
