Russian forces carried out two missile strikes and 85 air strikes, and deployed 9,846 kamikaze drones. Ukrainian defence forces struck UAV command posts, areas where personnel were concentrated, and command posts of Russian forces.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\">\n<p><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over the past 24 hours, the General Staff has recorded 230 combat engagements.<\/li>\n<li>The Pokrovsk sector saw the highest number of attacks \u2014 37.<\/li>\n<li>Russia dropped 275 guided bombs and deployed 9,846 kamikaze drones.<\/li>\n<li>The defence forces have struck seven command centres for Russian UAVs.<\/li>\n<li>The General Staff has estimated the daily casualties among Russian troops at 1,450.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>The fiercest attacks took place on three fronts<\/h2>\n<p>In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 37 assault attempts in the areas of Dorozhne, Udachne, Nikanorivka, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka and Molodetske, as well as in the direction of a further seven settlements, including Shevchenkove, Novooleksandrivka and Serhiivka.<\/p>\n<p>In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops launched 23 assaults \u2014 near Zakytne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka and in the direction of Mykolaivka, Piskunivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. The General Staff recorded a further 21 attacks in the Kostiantynivka sector, specifically in the areas around Kostiantynivka and Illinivka.<\/p>\n<p>In the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted to breach the defences 16 times, whilst in the Huliaipole sector it carried out 13 attacks. There were 10 attacks in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, and eight clashes in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors.<\/p>\n<h2>Russia has used missiles, aerial bombs and nearly 10,000 drones<\/h2>\n<p>Pros. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/GeneralStaffZSU\/41460\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">data<\/a> According to the General Staff, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out two missile strikes using five missiles and 85 air strikes, dropping 275 guided bombs. There were no offensive actions in the Dnipro sector; in the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of offensive formations were detected.<\/p>\n<h2>Strikes by the Defence Forces and reported losses among Russian troops<\/h2>\n<p>The Defence Forces\u2019 missile and artillery units struck seven drone command posts, five areas where Russian troops were concentrated and six command posts, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>The General Staff stated that over the past 24 hours <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/viyna\/vtraty-rosii-25-lypnia-henshtab\/\">Russian troops lost<\/a> 1,450 people. The Ukrainian military also destroyed seven tanks, 11 armoured fighting vehicles, 78 artillery systems, two air defence systems, five missiles, 17 ground-based robotic systems, 1,596 UAVs, 571 vehicles and eight pieces of specialised equipment.<\/p>\n<h2>Unmanned systems and air defence remain the focus<\/h2>\n<p>The large number of drones deployed by Russia and the number of UAV control centres destroyed highlight the importance of unmanned systems in the current hostilities. The Ministry of Defence has previously explained that modern operational models combine the work of infantry, reconnaissance and strike drones, electronic warfare, artillery, air defence and digital command and control systems. This may indicate the significant role played by technology in detecting and engaging targets.<\/p>\n<p>The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated, citing intelligence and information from partners, that Russia had prepared missiles for a new large-scale strike on Ukraine. On the same day, the Ministry of Defence held discussions with the US regarding the supply of interceptor missiles <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/science-tech\/yak-pratsiuie-patriot-pryntsyp-dii-pac-3\/\">PAC-3<\/a> and the PAC-2 GEM-T within the PURL framework.
