The company\u2019s lorries and other vehicles are visible on the road and in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>People can be seen standing in the street next to the cars. However, there is currently no official information regarding the evacuation of the warehouse staff.<\/p>\n<p>The attack on the facility is ongoing. The exact number of drones, the locations of the strikes and the extent of the fire have not yet been reported. There is also no independent confirmation of the extent of the damage to the warehouse facilities.<\/p>\n<h2>Details of those affected are being confirmed<\/h2>\n<p>At the time of publication, the Russian authorities and Wildberries\u2019 management had not provided full details of the consequences of the attack. It is not known whether any staff were inside the warehouse complex at the time of the strikes.<\/p>\n<p>There is also no information regarding any potential disruptions to the hub\u2019s operations, damaged goods or orders being redirected to other logistics centres.<\/p>\n<p>As events are unfolding as we speak, details regarding the fire and the damage may change once the emergency services have arrived and carried out an assessment of the area.<\/p>\n<h2>Wildberries\u2019 warehouses are under attack throughout the week<\/h2>\n<p>The attack on the target in Yekaterinburg continued <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/economics\/udary-sklady-wildberries-vtraty-prodavtsiv\/\">a series of attacks<\/a> on the logistics infrastructure of Russia\u2019s largest online marketplace. From 18 July, drones struck Wildberries warehouses in the Moscow region, the Tambov region, the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, St Petersburg, the Leningrad region and the temporarily occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n<p>Previous strikes affected at least six logistics centres, which accounted for over 10% of the company\u2019s warehouse capacity.<\/p>\n<p>Wildberries has begun making payments to some sellers whose goods were destroyed by fire or damaged. However, the company is invoking the force majeure clause, so the issue of full compensation for losses remains unresolved.<\/p>\n<p>If the damage to the warehouse in Yekaterinburg is confirmed, the geographical scope of the attacks on the marketplace\u2019s logistics network will extend to the Urals.
