Details regarding possible fatalities or injuries are still being clarified.<\/p>\n This is yet another strike on the \u00abNova Poshta\u00bb sorting centre in Kharkiv. According to Ukrmedia\u2019s tally, prior to the attack on 19 July, Russia had carried out six strikes on this facility since the start of the full-scale invasion.<\/p>\n On 20 June, Russian drones attacked the terminal twice, including once after the arrival of the rescue services. The fire then spread to cover more than 400 square metres, and the building, lorries and containers were damaged.<\/p>\n Five people were killed during the attack on 19 July on a terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv. In January, according to the company, a strike involving two missiles and four attack drones almost completely destroyed the freight terminal and damaged the postal terminal; four employees were killed and a further four were injured.<\/p>\n Following the attack in July, the company brought in alternative logistics routes and sorting hubs. Whether this approach will be adopted following the attack on 2 August will depend on an assessment of the terminal\u2019s condition and its capacity.<\/p>\n The impact of the current attack on delivery times in the Kharkiv region is yet to be determined. Previous experience of rerouting consignments suggests that the company has mechanisms in place to reallocate flows; however, this does not confirm any delays or specific decisions following the attack on 2 August.<\/p>\n Following the attack in January, Nova Poshta announced that it would compensate customers for the cost of destroyed parcels and rebuild the terminal.
