In particular, these include additional remuneration, one-off financial assistance, and adequate provision of clothing and food.<\/p>\n The office is also looking into issues relating to the granting of combatant status, the early termination of contracts at the soldier\u2019s own request, and the timely provision of medical care.<\/p>\n The Office of the Military Ombudsman has set up a special working group to analyse the issues faced by foreign nationals and stateless persons at all stages of their service. This covers the start and duration of service, discharge, return to their home country, or adaptation to civilian life in Ukraine.<\/p>\n The office team responds to reports of possible rights violations, regardless of whether they are received via a formal complaint, the media or through foreign non-governmental organisations.<\/p>\n\n
