In the evening On 9 August, Russian forces attacked the Poltava district with strike drones<\/strong>. Strikes were recorded at petrol stations, an industrial facility and a private residence. Fires broke out at several locations, which the emergency services fully extinguished.<\/p>\n

The head of the Poltava Regional State Administration reported on the consequences of the attack Vitaliy Dyakivnych<\/strong>. According to him, Russian troops attacked several targets in the Poltava district this evening.<\/p>\n

Drones struck petrol stations, an industrial plant and a private residence<\/strong>. Fires broke out at the sites following the strikes.<\/p>\n

Units from the State Emergency Service arrived at the scene. The rescue workers extinguished all the fires and continued to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack.<\/p>\n

The attack affected several types of civilian and industrial infrastructure at once.<\/p>\n

According to the regional authorities, the following have been damaged as a result of the strikes Petrol station, business premises and private residential property<\/strong>. The full extent of the damage and the scale of the losses incurred had not been reported at the time of publication.<\/p>\n

Rescue workers were operating at several locations. All the fires caused by the attack were successfully extinguished.<\/p>\n

Despite the strikes and fires, preliminary reports suggest that the attack resulted in no casualties.<\/p>\n

The Poltava Regional State Administration has reported that No reports of injuries had been received by the emergency services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Information regarding the full extent of the damage may be clarified following an inspection of the areas and facilities that were hit.<\/p>\n

The Poltava region has recently been targeted by Russian drones on several occasions. In particular, on 2 August, in the Poltava district, Russian drones attacked two industrial plants and critical infrastructure asset<\/a>. At one of the sites, a leak of a hazardous chemical occurred following the strike, which was dealt with by the emergency services.<\/p>\n
