Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n Edmond Technology, based in Wuhan and responsible for the operations and sales of AOC, AGON and ENVISION in mainland China, has informed Chinese distributors of the new terms. According to VideoCardz, prices will be adjusted individually for each model.<\/p>\n The manufacturer has not specified any particular amounts or percentages. It is therefore not yet possible to assess how the change will affect the brand\u2019s budget, office or gaming monitors.<\/p>\n AOC attributed the price review to rising costs for microchips, circuit boards and other components. Among the components becoming more expensive, the company cited power supplies, control boards and backlight modules.<\/p>\n The statement says that the adjustment is necessary to maintain product quality and service reliability. AOC has not specified whether this adjustment will be a one-off measure.<\/p>\n The pressure on the cost of electronics has a broader industry-wide context. TrendForce reported in March that display driver suppliers were discussing potential price increases with panel manufacturers due to higher costs for contract chip manufacturing, packaging, testing and materials.<\/p>\n Officially, the AOC\u2019s decision applies only to China.
